Ying Zhang joins China Wind Systems

China Wind Systems, Inc., a supplier of forged products and industrial equipment to the wind power and other industries in China, has appointed Ying (Teresa) Zhang as the company's new CFO, effective January 11, 2010. Zhang replaced Leo Wang, who resigned as CFO on January 5, 2010 due to personal reasons.


Zhang possesses extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis and reporting for both public and private companies in China and Australia. From July 2005 until January 2010, Zhang served as an auditing manager at GC Alliance HK CPA, an international accounting, taxation and advisory services firm in Beijing. From January 2003 to June 2005, Zhang served as a liaison officer for the Australian-Chinese Friendship Business Association. From July 2000 to September 2002, Zhang was an auditor at Ernst & Young in Beijing, China. Zhang is a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia.


She earned her bachelor's degree in international accounting from Renmin University in China and her master's degree in accounting from Macquarie University in Australia. Zhang is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
