William Tam Kam Biu Parts Ways with China Bio Cassava

William Tam Kam Biu has tendered his resignation as executive director, chief financial officer, authorised representative, compliance officer and company secretary of China Bio Cassava Holdings Limited with effect from 7 April 2014 due to personal and business commitments.

 

Tam has been the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of China Bio Cassava Holdings since August 2000 and December 03, 2011 respectively and serves as its Compliance Officer.

 

Tam has been Company Secretary of Culturecom Holdings Ltd. since March 2, 2012. He is a Co- Founder of Transpacific @Ventures Corporation.

 

Tam has over eighteen years of experience in financial management and corporate finance, gained with a number of Hong Kong listed companies and international groups. He served as Company Secretary of China Bio Cassava Holdings Limited since September 22, 2006 until May 3, 2010.

 

Tam served as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of ViaGOLD Capital Limited until August 14, 2000. He has been an Executive Director China Bio Cassava since September 18, 2000.

 

Tam has been an Executive Director of China Solar Energy Holdings Limited since September 2000. He serves as an Independent Non-executive Director of China Technology Solar Power Holdings Limited (Soluteck Holdings Ltd.) He has been an Independent Non- Executive Director of Rexcapital International Holdings Ltd. since January 24, 2006.

 

Tam served as a Non-Executive Director of ViaGOLD Capital Limited until December 7, 2012.

 

Tam previously served as a Non Executive Director of China Bio Cassava from January 2000 to September

2000. He served as an Executive Director of ViaGOLD Capital Limited until August 14, 2000. He served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of China Solar Energy Holdings Limited since January 24, 2006 to May 5, 2011. He has been an Associate Member/Fellow of the Hong kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants since September 1987 and an Associate/Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants since May 1988. He is a Qualified Accountant.

 

Tam obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and a Master of Business Administration degree major in Accounting in 1981 from York University in Toronto, Canada.
