United Photovoltaics Promotes Li Hong to CFO

United Photovoltaics Group Limited has promoted Li Hong, the Financial Controller of the company, as Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from 7 April 2014.

 

Li replaces Eric Leung Yuk Lun who has resigned from the position of CFO with effect from 7 April 2014.

 

Li, 41, joined the company as Financial Controller in February 2014. Li has over 15 years’ managerial experience in large state-owned enterprises, industrial enterprises, as well as in tourism industry and media industry. He used to work in the finance department of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. He also served with the China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited and was in charge of finance department of CTS’s mainland subsidiaries.

 

Li graduated from the China Central University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor's degree of economics, majoring in monetary banking.

 

Li also received an MBA degree from Murdoch University of Australia.
