Ulemj Baskhuu Redesignated to CFO of Mongolian Mining Corporation

The board of directors of Mongolian Mining Corporation has announced the re-designation and appointment of Ulemj Baskhuu from her current position of Chief
Investment Officer to Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from 27 August 2013.


Baskhuu, aged 34, joined the company as a vice president in December 2008 responsible for investment of Energy Resources Rail LLC, an indirect-wholly owned subsidiary of the company and was appointed as the Executive Vice President and CIO of the Company in November 2011 and her responsibilities were to oversee the liquidity, asset management and investor relations of the company.


Baskhuu obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Mercer University, United States in 2001.


Prior to joining the company, Baskhuu worked for major Mongolian banks and held various senior positions such as director of Financial Institutions at the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia between 2003 and 2007 and head of investment banking at Khan Bank between 2007 and 2008.
