Yuen Chin Yau Laurence Appointed CFO of Macau Legend

Yuen Chin Yau, Laurence has been appointed as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Macau Legend Development Limited with effect from 1 July 2016.

Yuen replaces Chan Kin Man who has resigned to pursue other career opportunities.

Yuen, aged 50, graduated from Fudan University, the People’s Republic of China, with a doctoral degree in industrial economics, and was admitted to the degree of master of business administration from Brunel University, the United Kingdom.

Yuen is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants; a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators; and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries.

Yuen was the chairman of the North Asia Regional Board of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2013. Before joining the company,  Yuen held senior financial positions in different companies in Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China.

He was previously the joint company secretary, authorized representative and qualified accountant of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Company Limited, and the CFO of Shanghai Golden Bund Real Estate Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Bund Center Investment Ltd.

He has over 24 years of experience in accounting, financial management, asset management and regulatory compliance.
