Wu Wei is Now Both EVP and CFO of Bank of Communications

Hong Kong-listed Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. has resolved to appoint Wu Wei as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the bank.

Wu, aged 47, has been the Chief Financial Officer since April 2015.

Wu served in the Bank as General Manager of Investment Banking Department and President of Investment Banking Business Center successively from July 2013 to April 2015 (concurrently as General Manager of Asset and Liability Management Department from December 2014), General Manager of Financial Budget Department from October 2011 to July 2013.

Wu was also President of Liaoning Branch from January 2010 to October 2011, and Supervisor, Deputy Head and Deputy General Manager of Finance Division of Finance Accounting Department as well as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Financial Budget Department successively from July 1998 to January 2010.

He also worked at the Internal Audit Division of People’s Bank of China Wuhan Branch from July 1994 to October 1995. Wu obtained his Doctoral degree in Economics from Graduate Faculty of Research Institute for Fiscal Science of Ministry of Finance in 1998.
