Stephen Chan Resigns From Hong Kong’s Neptune Group

The board of directors of Hong Kong-listed Neptune Group, which owns VIP gaming room intermediary businesses in Macau, has announced the resignation of Stephen Chan Shiu Kwong as an executive director, chief financial officer, company secretary and authorized representative, effective January 31, 2017.

The resignation came in the wake of the resignation of Crowe Horwath HK as the company’s external auditor, over what Neptune describes as the two parties’ inability to agree on the audit fees in the coming year. Zhonghua Anda CP Limited will be Neptune’s new auditor.

The company said Chan has confirmed he has no disagreement with the board and there are no other matters relating to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of shareholders.

Lam Yick Man has been named as the new company secretary, financial controller and authorized representative.
