Ship-Chartering Company Great Harvest Names New CFO

Chan Wai Shing assumed office on November 28 as Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and Authorized Representative of Hong Kong-listed Great Harvest Maeta Group, which is engaged in the ship-chartering business. He replaces Lau Ying Kit, who resigned to pursue "other career opportunities."

Chan graduated with a bachelor's degree in accountancy from City University of Hong Kong in 2001 and a master's in financial analysis from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2012. He qualified as a CPA of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2005, and was admitted as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2009.

Before joining Great Harvest, Chan worked in an international accounting firm for more than seven yeas and served in the senior management of several listed companies.
