Richard Jamieson to Join CFS Retail Property Trust Group

CFS Retail Property Trust Group has announced the appointment of Richard Jamieson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Jamieson will assume his position later in 2014.

“Richard is a highly respected and experienced CFO, whose impressive financial and management experience will add to CFX’s capabilities," said Angus McNaughton, Managing Director and CEO. "Aside from Richard’s demonstrably strong track record in finance, his background includes experience across superannuation, banking, fixed income research, funds management, portfolio analysis and reporting, and audit."

Jamieson worked for Colonial First State Global Asset Management, a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia - the previous Manager of CFX, in the position of CFO.

He is presently the Acting General Manager, Superannuation, Marketing and Direct, for BT Financial Group. Prior to this Jamieson  held various senior finance roles including CFO for BT Financial Group, CFO for Westpac New Zealand Limited, and Infrastructure Fund Manager and CFO at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.

Jamieson holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Macquarie University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
