Prudential Corporation Appoints Raghu Hariharan as CFO

Prudential Corporation Asia announces that Raghu Hariharan is joining its executive leadership team as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Adrian O’Connor, who is leaving the company.

Raghu is currently Group Director of Strategy and Capital Markets at Prudential plc and a member of the Group Executive Committee.

In his new role at PCA, he will have responsibility for Finance, Actuarial, Capital Markets, Strategy and Investor Relations across the region.  These functions play a key role in driving the company’s ambitious business agenda.

Raghu has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, having worked across Asia, the US and the UK, spanning consumer and investment banking and (re) insurance.

Prior to joining Prudential plc in 2012 as Investor Relations Director, he held a number of senior roles with large multi-national companies including Citibank, General Electric and Fox-Pitt Kelton, a leading boutique investment bank.

Before his appointment at Prudential plc, Raghu was Managing Director at Citibank, in charge of its global insurance sector equity research programme.
