Managing Millennials

This report from Morgan McKinley talks about the perception of millennials, comparing them to information coming directly from millennials themselves. The results are based on a global survey.

There is a common misconception among employers that millennials (born 1980 or later) are less patient, more focused on work-life balance, expect instant gratification, less motivated by money and will change jobs more quickly, compared to Generation X (born 1980 or earlier).

The survey shows that millennials are open to learning new things and will change jobs when they feel their current job stalled, they are as motivated by money as Generation X and care a lot about a company's social reputation.
