Felda Global Venture’s CFO Resumes Work After Suspension

Malaysia-based Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd has announced that its Group Chief Financial Officer Ahmad Tifli Mohd Talha is back to work after a four-month leave of absence.

In June, Ahmad Tifli together with other company officials, were suspended pending a domestic investigation on alleged wrongdoing in business dealings between the plantation group’s subsidiary Delima Oil Products Sdn Bhd and long-term business partner Afghan-based Safitex Trading LLC.

During the suspension period, the board appointed Aznur Kama Azmir, group financial controller of its plantation sector as the interim group CFO.

FGV has not divulged the outcome of the investigation.
