Deputy CEO Becomes CFO at Snacks Maker China Star Food Group

Yeo Choon Tat became CFO of Singapore-listed China Star Food Group effective May 31, 2017. He was previous deputy CEO.

China Star Food Group Limited researches, produces, and sells sweet potato snack food products such as candies, baked goods and pastries in China.

 “The Board of Directors, having reviewed and considered Mr. Yeo’s education and professional qualification, working experience, capacities and other relevant factors, approved the re-designation,” said the company.

Yeo, 64, is now responsible for supervision of financial reporting, management of the finance team, ensuring compliance with listing and regulatory requirements, and reviewing internal controls.

Yeo became Deputy CEO in 2016 after stints as a senior finance executive in Intraco, Smartflex, ASA Fortune and Possehi Electronics in Shanghai and Shenzhen in China.
