DBS CFO Chng Sok Hui Appointed Council Member of the IIRC

Chng Sok Hui, Chief Financial Officer of DBS, has been appointed as a Council Member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). She is the first member from a Southeast Asia corporate and one of the first from a listed company to be named to the Council.

The IIRC was formed in 2009 to lead the development of a global framework for integrated reporting. Chng’s appointment underscores IIRC’s recognition of DBS’ leadership in and commitment to integrated reporting.

DBS took its first step towards Integrated Reporting in its 2012 Annual Report, and was the first listed company in Southeast Asia to become a member of the IIRC Pilot Programme.

As a member of the IIRC Council, Chng will provide thought leadership and strategic insights related to IIRC initiatives and activities as they are implemented around the world.
