A US$2.4-Million CFO Job Opens Up as Jonathan Chou Resigns From Kulicke & Soffa

Expressing a desire to spend more time with his family, Jonathan Chou has resigned as CFO, Executive Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer of Kulicke & Soffa, a provider of semiconductor packaging and electronic assembly solutions to the global automotive, consumer, communications, computing and industrial sectors. 

Chou, 53, is Asia's 25th best paid CFO in the annual ranking compiled by S&P Global Markets Intelligence for CFO Innovation. He earned US$2.4 million last year. 
Kulicke CEO Fusen Chen paid tribute to Chou in a statement. "I would like to thank Jonathan for all his efforts and contribution to Kulicke & Soffa during the last seven years," he said. "He has built an outstanding finance team and implemented robust financial processes that helped contribute to the success of the Company's businesses and operations."
General Counsel and SVP for Legal Affairs Lester Wong, 51, has been named interim CFO. The company will conduct a search for a permanent CFO among external and internal candidates.
