A CFO’s Competencies for the Future

This report is created based on the valuable insights from C-suite finance professionals participating in two roundtables held in October 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event was a collaboration between CIMA and MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants), organized since three years ago. You will learn about the key skill sets that will be redundant in the next three years and the roles and competencies that will become more essential in this report.

Providing a guideline for CFOs to deal with an unknowable future, the report was also used as a basis for discussion amongst CFOs in our ‘CFO Dialogue 2016’ event held recently in Kuala Lumpur. There will also be a report--to be published in January 2017--prepared based on the discussions at CFO Dialogue 2016.
