Steven Lwi Tong Boon Parts Ways With Declout

Steven Lwi Tong Boon has resigned from Declout Limited.


As Chief Financial Officer of the company, Lwi was responsible for the overall financial, accounting, compliance and reporting, as well as internal control functions of the group. He was also in charge of liaising with the company's audit committee on any accounting and financial matters of the group.


Lwi has more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, mergers and acquisitions.


Prior to joining DeClout, Lwi was the CFO of Pteris Global Limited (from November 2007 to April 2011) and Interra Resources Limited (from August 2003 to October 2007), both listed companies on the SGX-ST.


In the course of his career, he also held various managerial positions, including the chief financial officer of Ferrell Asset Management Pte. Ltd. from October 2001 to August 2003 and heading the compliance and internal audit department of Fraser Securities Pte. Ltd. from April 1994 to July 2000.


Between August 2000 and September 2001, he was a treasury systems consultant with a local software development firm where he led systems implementation of corporate treasury systems for MNC customers. He was also an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 1992 to April 1994.Steven Lwi obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the Nanyang Technological University in 1992.


He is a Certified Public Accountant (Non-Practising) with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
