Statistician: China's Recovery to Gain Momentum in 2010

China's economy is over the worst and that the country will sustain the momentum of its current V-shaped recovery in 2010, reports Thomson Reuters.

 

"We can say with certainty that China's economy is over the worst," Yao Jingyuan, chief economist of the National Bureau of Statistics told an economic forum attended by Thomson Reuters.

 

According to economists polled by Reuters, figures due on Thursday are expected to show that annual gross domestic product growth accelerated to 8.9% last quarter from 7.9% in the April-June quarter.
