Singapore's Employers Urged to Restore Wage Cuts

Sinagpore's manpower minister Gan Kim Yong is urging employers who are doing well to reward the contributions and sacrifices their employees made during the recent recession by ending wage freezes and restoring wage cuts, reports the Strait Times.

 

The newspaper says the minister also revealed plans to encouraging older workders to rejoin the workforce and to stay employed longer.
