Singapore Firms Name Vietnam as Top Investment Destination

Singapore-based firms have named Vietnam as the most popular investment destination within the ASEAN region.

The Straits Times reports that almost half (49%) of the 120 senior and middle managers who responded to a new survey say their companies planned to invest or increase investments in Vietnam over the next three years.

Malaysia and Indonesia are the next popular destinations among Singapore firms.

The least popular locations were Laos, Brunei and Myanmar, says the newspaper, citing figures from the report.
