Shell Malaysia appoints David Lau as finance director

Shell Malaysia has appointed David Lau as finance director.

Lau started his career with Shell in Miri and had assumed different roles in both exploration and production (EP), downstream, as well as an assignment in the UK (London and  Aberdeen). He spent the last 10 years overseas; in China where he was a finance director and more recently as EP global controller and then EP technical finance vice president based in the EP head office in the Netherlands.

In his new capacity, Lau also assumes the role of non-independent and non-executive director of Shell Refining Company replacing Michael Taylor, who recently took up a new role with Brunei Shell Petroleum.
