Rob Donaghy is Aviva Asia's new finance chief

The Asian business of insurance group Aviva PLC has appointed Rob Donaghy, formerly of National Australia Bank, as its new chief financial officer, replacing Craig Brackenrig. Brackenrig will remain in his current role until mid-2010.


Donaghy has over 25 years' experience in life insurance, superannuation and investments, including senior actuarial, strategy, marketing and capital management roles with the Commonwealth Bank and Colonial, in both the Australian and international businesses. Donaghy is a Fellow of the Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Science.
