Strong Leader, Tough Decisions

Once every five years the ruling Chinese Commuist Party (CCP) assembles for its national congress, an event that ranks in political importance alongside national elections in deomocracies. This year on Oct 18 more than 2,000 delegates, representing the almost 89m members of the party will assemble in Beijing for the 19th national congress of the CCP.
