Rickmers Trust Management hires Gerard Low Shao Khang

Rickmers Trust Management Pte. Ltd. has appointed Gerard Low Shao Khang  as its chief financial officer effective February 15, 2011.


Low brings with him more than 18 years of experience in business, investments, operations and financial management across a wide range of industry sectors.


Low was owner and managing partner of Berioza Associates, a provider of outsourced CFO and corporate advisory services. Prior to that, he was Group CFO and Executive Director at Delifrance Asia group, where he oversaw the financial reporting, corporate planning and treasury management of the entire group. Before Delifrance, he had spent several years at PAMA Group Inc., one of the earliest private equity firms in Asia, where he was responsible for direct investments and post-investment monitoring.


Low also represented PAMA on the boards of several investee companies. He started his career in audit at KPMG.


Low graduated from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.


Low takes over from Quah Ban Huat, who will remain with RTM until  February 28, 2011 to ensure a smooth transition of duties.
