RBS appoints Bruce Van Saun as CFO

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc has appointed Bruce Van Saun as CFO, with effect from 1st October 2009. Prior to the appointment, Van Saun held a number of senior management positions in financial services and was most recently CFO of Bank of New York Mellon. Van Saun’s appointment completes the restructuring of the Group’s senior management team.

His significant restructuring and integration expertise will prove invaluable as we work towards rebuilding standalone strength," says Stephen Hester, RBS Group Chief Executive.
