PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has announced it will acquire Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc. for US$378 million.
Diamond provides strategic management consulting services. The company employs more than 500 consultants worldwide and has offices in Chicago, Hartford, New York, Washington DC, London, and Mumbai. It will join the PwC Advisory practice, which ranks among the largest providers of consulting services globally. Diamond’s consultants are experienced in helping clients attract and retain customers, increase the value of their information, and plan and execute projects that turn strategy into measurable results.
PwC's acquisition is just among the string of M&A activities happening in the business consulting industry. In April this year, Mazars, an international group specialising in audit and advisory services and Weiser, an audit and advisory firm with a strong presence in the US north east, announced their merger.
