Pacific Shipping Trust names new CFO

Pacific Shipping Trust has named Shaldine Wang, 38, as the company's new CFO.

 

Wang is overall responsible for finance and treasury management functions, including matters relating to PST's debt and equity fund raising, formulating strategic plans for PST and managing investor communication with the unitholders.

 

Wang was Head of Investment at Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Limited, the manager of Cambridge Industrial Trust. At CITM, she was primarily responsible for developing investment strategies for acquisitions and divestments, setting investment objectives as well as identifying and evaluating potential opportunities for the trust.

 

Prior to joining CITM, Wang was the finance manager for Pacific Oil & Gas, the oil and gas business unit of Singapore’s RGMI Group. Key responsibilities include taking charge of business and financial modelling and analysis, execution of M&A and project financing and banking relations, especially with China.

 

Between 1996 and 2003, Wang held various roles in analysis, fund raising and corporate recovery and restructuring at JP Management Consulting (Asia-Pacific) Pte Ltd, Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Bhd, and Price Waterhouse Associates respectively.
