Michael Ho rejoins Silk Road Hotels

Ho has 25 years experience with luxury hotels including Four Seasons, Regent, Marco Polo and Marriott groups. He was also involved in several pre-opening projects in Beijing, Shanghai and Xian.

A chartered certified accountant, he is responsible for overseeing the group’s accounting and corporate finance matters including an intended IPO exercise. Currently, the group has cultural property business and seven cultural hotels in China.

Before Silk Road, Ho was the financial controller of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club (FCC). He left FCC at end of 2006 and joined Silk Road to co-ordinate an IPO project, which was eventually suspended due to the financial crisis. He then left to work at his CPA firm and teach part-time.
