Mazars and Weiser Complete Merger

Mazars, an international group specialising in audit and advisory services and Weiser, an audit and advisory firm with a strong presence in the US north east, have announced that their businesses are to merge.

Partners from both entities have voted to incorporate 74 Weiser partners into Mazars’ international integrated partnership.

The deal will further Mazars’ international development, and means that the firm will have offices in 56 countries and over 680 partners.

Mazars and Weiser, which has a turnover of €100m ($135m), have maintained a partnership for the last ten years via a joint-venture agreement.

With this merger, the Paris-based Mazars will become the world's sixth largest accounting firm and a strengthened presence in the U.S.
