Global Capital Confidence Barometer: Alliances Join M&A as Engines of Growth

This report from EY looks at how companies globally are using mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and alliances for bonding. The findings are based on a global survey.

Due to the uneven global growth, companies are eager to look abroad for new opportunities. Organizations investing in emerging markets are now looking for the best place to fit their products and services.

The sectors with the highest appetite to acquire are oil and gas (59%), consumer products/retail (59%) and power and utilities (58%).
