A CFO Imperative: Gaining Visibility and Control of Cash

This report from CFO Innovation, sponsored by SWIFT, looks at the visibility and control of cash for companies in Asia. The findings are based on a survey among finance professionals across Asia that took place earlier this year.

The findings show that only a small number of companies have total visibility of their cash positions. A majority of companies (52%) in Asia still rely on manual processes to achieve visibility into bank accounts.

Since banks and partners all are using different systems, companies find it difficult to consolidate report transactions and balances to get visibility. However, by reworking the company's internal procedures, such as automating manual processes, companies will start gaining instant overview of their cash flow.
