Malaysia Airlines promotes Mohd Azha bin Abdul Jalil to CFO

Malaysia Airlines has appointed Mohd Azha bin Abdul Jalil as its new CFO.

 

Azha, 42-year-old, holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting (High Distinction) from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.

 

He previously worked for the Shell group of companies for 17 years before joining Malaysia Airlines in July 2007 as senior general manager, finance.

 

The carrier said Azha has been instrumental in assisting management on BTP1 and BTP2 initiatives, instituting transparent investment decision processes and consolidating group finance functions.
