ICPAS appoints first Chief Executive Officer

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore has appointed Dr. Tham Kah Poh, FCPA Singapore, as its first Chief Executive Officer.

 

Prior to joining ICPAS, Dr. Tham was Director of Strategic Planning and Policy and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the National Heritage Board, where she was responsible for overseeing policy and research, strategic planning, corporate development, corporate governance and corporate services.

 

Prior to joining NHB, Dr Tham also served in senior management positions in various organisations, including the Health Promotion Board, Healthway Medical Group and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.

 

Tham graduated in Dental Surgery at the National University of Singapore under the Public Services Commission (PSC) Merit Bursary Award.

 

She holds a Masters in Business Administration (NUS) and is a Fellow of ICPAS (FCPA Singapore) and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK).
