Greek Crisis Worries Infosys CFO

V. Balakrishnan, chief financial officer of Infosys Technologies Ltd. is worried that if the current debt crisis in Greece spreads across Europe, the volume of work outsourced from the contintent would take a dive, says a Dow Jones Newswires story ran by the Wall Street Journal.

"Mr. Balakrishnan's concerns mirror analysts' fears that a sovereign debt contagion, triggered by Greece, may spread across Europe and undermine the recovery in business confidence across the world," reports Dow Jones. Infosys is India's second-largest software services exporter by sales.

Quoting Balakrishnan, the newswire service says that while "Infosys doesn't have any material exposure to Greece, any issues with the country could have an impact on the whole continent."
