GMG Global Designates Zhou Laichun as CFO

Zhou Laichun has been designated to replace Danny Lo Kan Yu who will retire as Chief Financial Officer of GMG Global on 30 June 2013.  


Prior to joining GMG, Zhou held various senior positions at Jotun Coatings Co. Ltd (China), a member of the Jotun Group which is a worldwide manufacturer of paints, coatings and powder coatings headquartered in Norway.


From June 2003 to August 2008, Zhou served as Finance Director of Jotun China during which he oversaw the development of financial functions for the company, joint venture companies and wholly-owned subsidiaries in China. His responsibilities include supervising cash flow and coordinating cash flow requirements with various financial institutions, annual external and internal audit, risk analysis, optimising internal control policies, internal price policies and overseeing financial reporting including the annual budget, annual forecast and monthly analysis.


From August 2008 to February 2013, Zhou held several roles such as Director, Deputy General Manager of various business units within Jotun China. In his last position as Strategy Director, Zhou managed the company’s governmental relationships and developments of key customers and advised on and executed corporate development activities.
