Frank Waung Takes Over as CFO of Chinasoft International

Frank Waung has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer of Chinasoft International Limited. He replaces Fok Ming Fuk, William who remains as the company secretary and the authorised representative.

 

Waung, 47, has served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the company since 1 June 2012. Prior to joining the company, Waung was the CFO for China Pharma Holdings Inc., a NYSE AMEX listed China-based manufacturer of western pharmaceuticals from 2009 through 2012.

 

Waung has also worked as an investment banker with a focus on China for Hickey Freihofner Capital, a special situations analyst at Della Camera Capital Management, a senior market economist and convertible securities trader at SG Cowen, as well as a quantitative marketer at Credit Suisse First Boston.

 

After receiving his degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Waung was a systems programmer for Unisys and Hughes Aircraft company.

 

Waung has a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School.
