Ford Motor Company Names CFO of Asia Pacific

Ford Motor Company has appointed Mark Kosman, formerly Controller, Global Product Development, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Asia Pacific, effective Dec. 1.


Kosman, who joined the company in 1989 as a Manufacturing cost analyst at the Romeo Engine plant in Romeo, Mich., has served through Ford Motor Company during his long career.  After many years supporting Manufacturing, he moved into Product Development and worked with the teams creating marquis nameplates such as Mustang and Thunderbird as well as Lincoln. 


Kosman also worked in Europe as European Accounting director before taking on the role of Global Accounting director.


Kosman joins an Asia Pacific team that has seen many changes in recent days, including the appointment of Dave Schoch as group vice president and president Asia Pacific and John Lawler as chairman and CEO, Ford Motor China.
