The EY G20 Entrepreneurship Barometer 2013: China

This report from EY shows China’s entrepreneurial ranking among G20. The report states that there has been strong push across China to boost entrepreneurship further. The strongest performance has been in access to funding (ranked 3rd among G20), and the reduction of bureaucracy involved in starting a business (although still slow, 36 days compared to the G20 average of 22 days).

Nonetheless, there are still obstacles such as education and entrepreneurial culture are still very low. But the new Chinese government says they will work towards less bureaucracy and government involvement, which hopefully will help lift the entrepreneurial culture.
