Euro Crisis May Propel Talent Shift From Europe to Asia

The financial turmoil in Europe may spark talent migration from developed markets to emerging Asian nations, reports the Economic Times, citing providers of talent management solutions.

"There has been a marked rise in interest among C-level executives from outside the Asia Pacific region to shift base to the Asian region. Out of the total applications received by us, we have seen around 10 to 15% are from outside the Asia-Pacific region," Chris Jock, talent management solutions provider Kelly OCG's APAC region head, told the Times.

TeamLease Services managing director Ashok Reddy told the Times that emerging Asian nations are creating opportunities for the displaced, particularly those that are talented and have experience, to relocate to the region.
