Ernst & Young Malaysia appoints new country managing partner

Abdul Rauf Rashid is the new country managing partner of Ernst & Young Malaysia.

 

Rauf took over from See Huey Beng who is retiring on June 30 after leading the firm for the past nine years. Rauf started his career in Britain and has been in professional practice for over 20 years.

 

He was admitted as a partner of the firm in 2001 at the age of 33 and was appointed as the firm's head of assurance in 2008.

 

Rauf is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountant.

 

He graduated with honours in Accounting and Economics from the University of Southampton, Britain.
