Efficient Clearance System Seeks to Reduce Trade Costs

To reduce trade costs and speed up the transit of goods, China's Urumqi Customs is putting in place procedures that will facilicate clearance for exported or imported goods passing through the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, reports the China Daily.

According to the Daily, clearance for low-risk goods will be more efficient as it will be done automatically by computer.
