Crisis and Finance: The CFO's New Environment in China and Hong Kong

The ACCA’s report gleans insights on how the roles of the CFO and the finance function in Hong Kong and China are changing as a result of the global recession.


Key findings include: the CFO’s role is now more valued; CFOs are increasingly active in decision support and corporate strategy; and a better economy in China means more emphasis on cash flow, whereas cost-cutting and profits are still key in Hong Kong.
