China 2013: Salary Rates and Employment Insights

This Salary and Employment Insight report from Hudson is based on a survey of 1,750 employers and employees in China. The survey findings show that companies in China are having a hard time with candidates withdrawing their interest late in the hiring process. The top three reasons for late withdrawing:
  1. Salary expectations not met
  2. Company culture not a good fit
  3. Role lacked career development opportunities
Losing a good candidate during recruiting is frustrating and costly for the organization. To avoid late withdrawals, companies should be upfront with salary and benefits, keep candidates engaged by describing the company culture in detail and produce an up-to-date and detailed job description.
