Bigger Bonus, Pay Hikes for Singapore's Workers

Workers in Singapore's flourishing financial and shipping sectors will receive more than 2.7 months of bonus this year, according to the Straits Times.

Citing the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), the Times says workers in other sectors can also expect at least 2.7 months of bonus this year.

Employers are also expected to hike salaries, with increments of 3.5% to 4% likely to be given out in 2011 compared to 0.98% this year.
