Australia's Straits Names New CFO

Australian mining and exploration companiy Straits has appointed Robert Brainsbury as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

 

Brainsbury has held senior operational and finance roles with several blue chip industrial and resources companies, including Norton Gold Fields, MIM, Xstrata, Rio Tino and Brambles. 

 

Straits was formed through the de-merger of the metal assets from diversified resource company Straits Resources Limited (renamed International Coal Holdings Ltd), and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 2 February 2011.
