Difficult economic conditions have not deterred the growth of demand for CPM from businesses. Awareness of CPM has increased, but Gartner estimates that nearly 50% of large enterprise and 75% of midsize businesses are still using spreadsheet or legacy applications for financial consolidation and financial reporting.
While the market is still dominated by Oracle, SAP BusinessObjects and IBM, five new vendors have entered the Magic Quadrant.
