Maple Tree Logistics Trust Management Ltd., has appointed Wong Mei Lian as chief financial officer. Prior to her appointment, she was senior vice president, treasury of the Sponsor since November 2007, where she was in charge of the overall treasury management of the Sponsor group.
She has more than 15 years of work experience in diverse areas including investment banking, corporate finance and treasury and real estate financial products. Before joining the Sponsor, Wong held the positions of vice president, treasury of CapitaLand Ltd and vice president of CapitaLand Financial Limited and subsequently as director, treasury of Singapore Power Ltd.
Earlier in her career, Wong worked in the merchant banking arm of Schroders where she was responsible the origination, structuring and syndication of debt in South East Asia. Wong holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
