South Korea, Turkey Set for FTA Talks

South Korea is expected to enter into the initial phase of talks with Turkey next month regarding a free trade agreement between the two nations, reveals Tax-News.com.

 

According to the tax news portal, Turkey wants to have the bilateral FTA signed before South Korea signs a similar agreement with the European Union. Turkish officials fear that trade between the two countries, which has already been reduced sharply by the global financial crisis, will be further adversely affected by a South Korea-EU pact, says Tax-News.com.
