The EIU’s report explores the issue of the scarcity of skills in a variety of industries, namely construction and engineering, energy and natural resources, life sciences, IT/technology and manufacturing. It also looks at skills gaps in various job functions—and how these are being addressed.

The report ignores the racist behaviour by the global companies, especially in treatment and pay packages for the skilled people from developing nations.
1) These skilled people are rarely involved in key meetings and discussions. They are cut off from the reasoning and decisions making, how the hell these skilled people will be sure of they being heard if they show creativity. These skilled people are approached only for repetitive and technical jobs of number crunching and shaping actual deliverables. Whereas the skilled and experienced people from developing nations just see that the (fresh graduates) kids from the developed nations are paid many times more than these skilled and experienced people; the question of paying equal to their counterparts in developed nations (I repeat counterparts) does not even arise.
2) The most and least experience person from the developing nations is first one to be sacked and all those kids are retained.
3) The salary disparity is such that these skilled people cannot even have a decent lifestyle and accommodation.
Appreciate the effort in making the report, but the conclusions are not refined to ground conditions.
