New Survey to Track Business Confidence in Asia

Finance professionals and other senior executives in Asia will soon get a new tool to help them with corporate planning, budgeting and strategy. In partnership with SAP, a global leader in business software solutions, CFO Innovation will be polling CFOs and other key executives across Asia on their level of optimism in the prospects of their economy and company.
 
The quarterly Business Confidence Survey will also ask Asia’s executives what changes they expect in the next 12 months with regards to wages and salaries, bonuses, number of employees, sales, earnings, M&A activity and capital spending, among other operational measures. The respondents will be asked as well to rank the most serious internal and external challenges that their company faces.

The survey is designed to help companies with their forecasting and scenario planning by opening a window into the business sentiment, problems, expectations and plans of their peers in aggregate for all of Asia and, whenever possible, sliced and diced by industry sector, company type, size of revenue and market.  
 
The findings of the first Business Confidence Survey will be published in October this year.
